PICS: SA features in New Yorker photography project

Cape Town - As one of South Africa's most iconic attractions, it's no surprise that Table Mountain is the focus of a South African feature on the New Yorker's official Instagram feed

Local photographer, Alexia Webster has taken over the New Yorker's account for a week, sharing images from a series she is working on, exploring life on the hills and ranges of Table Mountain National Park in Cape Town.

Now, before you roll your eyes and expect yet another batch of typical 'touristy' views of the world famous bucket list destination, Webster's shots give an intriguing peek into the lesser known sides of life on the mountain.

She walks with rangers and rastas and spends some time with a group of worshipers.
