WATCH: The world's highest swing opens in Russia

Cape Town - The tallest swing is now open to the public in the Skypark Sochi Adventure Park in Russia, which was started by famous bungee jumper and adrenaline junkie,  AJ Hackett.

Traveller24 reported the opening of the world's longest footbridge at the same Skypark two months ago, but the bar has now been raised with this new swing, that is sure to weaken even the most seasoned adrenaline junkie's stomach.

Swingers on this 170m-high swing in Sochi need to cross the world's longest footbridge, nearly 207 meters in the air, before they can be harnessed and set to 'fall' down over minuscule looking cars below.

The new Sochi Swing now knocks the previous highest swing record holder, the Nevis Swing in New Zealand, off the rank.

The adventure park, Skypark, is supported by an adventure tourism group, AJ Hackett International and is like an elevated amusement park for adrenaline junkies.

Apart from the Sochi Swing, the Skypark sports a bungee jump right in the middle of the bridge, as well as a 152m high zip line, called the Trollwire, than can reach speeds of up to 113km/h!

Take a look at some of the photos of the daredevils who've been there:
