Cape Town - In the wake of a number of incidents of xenophobia that have gripped South Africa's city communities, there are still neighbourhoods that choose to embrace the diversity in the country, and make living together side-by-side a pleasant experience.
While some people are spreading the bad news of what's going down in South Africa, others are taking brooms and spades and doing what they can to be the difference.

A project initiated by Christine Rose Williams, who lives in Du Noon Township in Cape Town got together on Sunday night, 19 April, urged the community members of this Section 31 to work together as a team to clean their home space and celebrate the different cultures living together in their crescent.
Filmographer Howard James Fyvie, who also lives in this cul de sac in Du Noon, says people "need to hear some good news about the townships" of South Africa, as opposed to the constant negativity proclaimed about these uber-diverse spaces in South Africa.
