After 22 Seasons, CW has cancelled Tyra Bank’s reality television show, America’s Next Top Model and what a walk it has been. Tyra announced on Twitter that the 22nd cycle of ANTM should be its last and thanked all her fans for supporting the show throughout the 12 years it’s been on air.
Since the first episode aired in 2003, we’re seen many embarrassing, happy, heartfelt, weird and shocking moments. And here are some of the memorable moments that have happened:
1. Winner of Cycle 6, Danielle Evans tried to walk killer high heels and fell TWICE. It’s hilarious.
2. In Cycle 4, Rebecca Epley passed out during the middle of her critique given by the judges.
3. In Cycle 13, contestant Jennifer was just everything. She was ALWAYS happy and ALWAYS weird, which we all loved.
4. In Cycle 12, Ceilia Ammerman found out that no one ever stands up and speaks to Tyra about her decisions on the show. After Ceilia confronted the host about another contestant ,Tahlia Brookins, not wanting to be in the show, Tyra dismissed her remarks and kept her quiet.
5. In Cycle 6, Tyra fainted, which caused all the contestants to rush to her side and then she hopped up and shouted that she was acting. We’re still not sure how to feel about it, though.
6. In Cycle 2, when Shandi Sullivan cheated on her boyfriend, Eric, with one of the Italian models after a photo shoot in Milan. Ashamed of her infidelity, Shandi wept and eventually while she confessed to her boyfriend on a the phone. It was hectic.
7. In Cycle 14, Alexandra Underwood had one of the biggest falls in the competition during a runway show. Despite tearing the dress and ultimately embarrassing herself, she pulled through it.
8. In Cycle 4, Tyra yelled at Tiffany Richardson for not appreciating the opportunity ANTM gave her. Tiffany couldn’t care less about her elimination and kept on interrupting Tyra, which eventually led to the host to taking it personally and in turn caused her to shout at Tiffany.
