Recently, a man from Oregon in America had the brilliant idea of using a propane torch in his garden to control his unwanted plant growth.
Fire fighters were called in to put out a fire that had already badly damaged the roof of a home - a month after a man nearby had the same exact brain wave and nearly burnt down his house too.
But, hey, at least they both had the good sense to wet down the surrounding brush before starting on theirstupid endeavour.
Next time, just use a weed eater.
