Suzuki SA spruces Jimny 4x4, gains auto box

JOHANNESBURG - Suzuki has updated its iconic Jimny 4x4 with host of exterior and interior and equipment upgrades. For the first time, the Jimny will be available with an auto transmission.

The Jimny is powered by a 63kW/110Nm 1.3-litre four-cylinder petrol can now be mated to a four-speed auto. As with the manual variant, the auto is linked to a transfer case offering low-range operation for taking on challenging terrain.

UPGRADED EXTERIOR, INTERIOR

The 4x4 gains new dark, silver 15” alloys and can be ordered in two new colours; brown and metallic pearl.
The interior benefits from a new instrument cluster with a digital display, upgraded upholstery aimed and a new steering wheel.

Standard kit includes remote central locking, a CD audio system, power  windows, aircon, dual front airbags, head restraints, inertia-reel seatbelts, and anti-lock brakes.

All Jimny variants are sold with a three-year or 100 000km warranty and a four-year or 60 000km service plan.
