LONDON, England - The former hosts of the BBC's popular Top Gear show who left after a scandal over an off-set dust-up have signed-up to present a car show for broadcaster Amazon Prime.
Amazon said on Thursday (July 30 2015) that Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond had committed to three series of the show whose first broadcast will be in 2016.
Clarkson said moving to Amazon's streaming service felt "like I've climbed out of a biplane and into a spaceship".

Clarkson was fired in March 2015 after he punched a producer during an off-set altercation. The show's two other hosts also left.
Top Gear has won a huge global following with its mix of car tips, driving stunts and jokey banter.
The BBC says the show will continue with new hosts.
The London Evening Standard reported that the deal had ended speculation about what the publication called "the most bankable" star on British TV would do after Clarkson’s departure after 27 years.
BBC director general Tony Hall refused to renew the 55-year-old’s contract after the hotel row.
