GENEVA, Switzerland - Kia has unveiled its Sportspace concept at the 2015 Geneva auto show, hinting at the automaker's next-generation Optima estate.

The Sportspace was designed at KIA’s Frankfurt design studio, under the direction of chief designer Gregory Guillaume. It measures 4.8m long, 1.8m wide, and 1.4m tall with a wheelbase of 2.8m.

The concept sports a low roof, large bonnet, vents along its flanks and "ice cube" headlights. It has slender side-mirrors, new 20" alloys with carbon-fibre insets and dual chromed exhaust tips.

TURBO POWER

The Sportspace is powered by a 2.0-litre T-GDI (turbocharged gasoline direction injection) capable of 185kW sending power to front wheels.
