5 Things that you probably didn’t know about Raymond E. Feist

Here’s a list of things we discovered about one of fantasy’s finest novelists:

1. This is his first visit to South Africa. He took a strong political stand and refused to come to South Africa while it was under the previous regime.

2. He never reads other fantasy authors’ work while he writes for fear of elements from outside creeping in.

3.  If you’re planning to attend one of his book signings, you’ll be in for a treat. He is funny, down-to-earth and a lot chattier and cheekier than he’d have you believe.  

In fact, when we met him, it felt more as if we were chatting to an old friend, than an international best-selling author.

4.  He has had the opportunity to meet fellow fantasy author, George R.R Martin and thinks he’s a pretty great guy.

5.  One of the things he’s most proud of? Is that so many of his readers feel that they can identify and relate to Pug,
