Everyone knows that wedding dresses don’t come cheap.
Whether you’re hiring, buying or having your bridal gown made, chances are that a large portion of your budget goes towards your dress.
This bride, however, decided to do things a little differently.
According to The Huffington Post, a user on reddit decided to purchase her own material and to make her own dress during her every day morning commute on the bus.
Using material that she purchased for under $30 dollars (that's about almost R335, which included the cloth for the lining of the dress), she spent a good 5 months crocheting the dress, after which she posted a video showcasing a time-lapse of her process.
