So when we first stumbled across this story, we thought we were just going to see a mother-son duo whose dance routine was being greatly exaggerated.
Of course, once we actually watched the video, we had to swallow our words.
According to The Huffington Post, the video was actually uploaded a while back, but only recently started going viral when Reddit and Buzzfeed picked up on it.
The guests were treated to an epic surprise when mom and son went from slow dancing to launching into a routine that included a medley of Michael Jackson’s Billie Jean and Thriller (which totally gets our vote as best part of the video).
The song they ended off with? ‘NSync’s Bye, Bye, Bye.
What really makes this hip mom awesome though, is that she did the whole routine in high heels.
Also, the bride clearly shows that she totally doesn’t mind that the spotlight was on the duo; in fact, so much so, she actually looks as if she’s enjoying the performance more than everyone else in the room.
