Pubic hair, or more specifically the way people choose to deal with it, has become a hot topic lately.
A number of women’s magazines have tried to establish what all the fuss is about. I think that I would also like to venture a guess.
A woman’s lady garden supposedly says as much about who she is as the outfit she throws on in the morning. It even seems that certain personal characteristics are linked to the amount of hair down there.
Women who prefer to keep it natural are often assumed to be modern day hippies with less than admirable personal hygiene habits.
Their sex life is also subjected to scrutiny, because ‘no one’s going to come to your house if they can’t find it’.
On the other side of the scale is the woman who prefers to take it all off. No hair anywhere. Women like this usually conjure up the image of an Amazon warrior princess who is as much in charge of the boardroom as she is the bedroom. And equally adventurous.
These assumptions are absolute nonsense to me. How can you draw conclusions about someone based on the size of their down below afro?
And all the while most men are walking around with bird nests in their drawers.
Not all men, of course.
The modern man has discovered that there are certain perks that come with the odd bit of manscaping. But they are still not under the same pressure as women to keep it clean and tidy down there.
I say do with your lady garden as you please. And if you are in a relationship with someone who demands any sort of alterations, he better be prepared to return the favour.
