The look: the upside-down cat eye

I am a great fan of the classic, sexy eye. After years of doing and redoing my cat eye using liquid eyeliner, I am finally a master of the wand.

Yet, this look has been given a New York Fashion Week makeover (of course) as many designers, including Edun (pictured below), Suno and rag & bone recently opted for the upside-down cat eye to achieve their runway beauty look.

It's an expected, yet simple and fresh approach.

The Gloss reported on this new trend, saying that instead of flicking up at the corners as you glide the liner over the lid, you flick down.

This look is very easy to achieve and hey, if you accidentally mess-up your feline flick, you can always say that it was intentional. Sneaky...It is the trend of the moment after all.
