3 hairstyles we want you to try this year

Switch up your hair game this year with one of these 3 classic hairstyles:

Lobs: Another name for the long bob. It consists of short, loose waves and is one of the year’s most popular styles.

The beauty of the style is that it can be groomed to look elegant and tousled – like Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift - to be more casual.

One of the greatest things about a lob is that if you have long hair and are feeling bored because it "just hangs", you can change it up without committing to a "shorter" cut.

It’s the change that you’re after – and if you want long hair again, it doesn't have that much further to grow!

Crop it: Miley Cyrus’s short cropped platinum blond cut is one of my favourite looks. Her pixie, punky, front swept style has all the wow of a short cut, yet the longer pieces give a person more security and versatility in their style.

Loose waves: Taking our cue from Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Anna Kendrick we can be sure that loose waves create ultimate glamour and are here to stay. While Beyonce had perfect, feminine mermaid waves, Anna’s side swept style softened the effect of the men’s tuxedo she was wearing.
