Everyone seems to be talking about superstar, Beyoncé's new fringe. Personally, her bangs look a bit 'home-made' to me.
It left me confused, as the fringe seemed to be cut unevenly and way, way too short. Surely a star of her calibre can afford a decent haircut?
Yet, many of us who've dared to try bangs have fallen short.
That's why I've rounded up some much-needed advice for Queen Bey (and the rest of us) on how to successfully grow out your bangs/fringe...
1. Don’t touch your scissors! Be patient. Don't be like Hannah in Girls, by chopping your own fringe with the 'help' of YouTube tutorials.
2. Go for slight trims at the hairdresser – don’t chop it. This will help your hair to grow faster.
3. Keep your hair very moisturised to prevent breakage. Try a nice mask a few days a week.
4. Veer away from the middle parting and swoop it to the right or left side.
5. Hair accessories are key: pin it or wear a headband.
6. Braid it and pin it up.
