Floral prints are still huge this summer. You will see floral pants, jackets, tops, dresses, shoes and accessories. In fact, every possible item that can come in floral, will. The floral prints range from small and pretty to abstract, bold and even some with a gothic edge.
This season, there is a fabulous floral print for everyone and is suitable for all body shapes.
Floral is not reserved for only girly-girls. This look can be worn in different ways according to your personality and personal style. You just need to find a floral print you like. With so much to choose from, this should be easy.
Make this look your own:
If you lean toward a modern edgy look, then go for a chic strong print rather than a delicate a pretty floral print. Mix your floral items with chic classic trousers or opt to mix it up by wearing structured jacket over a pretty floral top.
If pretty and feminine is your thing, select a soft floral in a floaty fabric to emphasise your natural style. This doesn’t mean shapeless though. Make sure that your look still gives you shape. If your loved dress or top has no shape, belt it in the waist. If the fabric is soft and flowing, the fabric will gather gently around the belt without adding extra bulk.
If you are a tomboy and don’t usually wear floral, select a strong floral item that can be worn with jeans or a tee shirt for a look that is more boyish and less boho. Don’t be afraid to mix masculine and feminine pieces together; a floral skirt with ankle boots or sneakers and a denim jacket.
