Kendall Jenner is officially the new darling of the 68th Cannes Film Festival. I'm sure other stars walked the red carpet last night at Cannes, but to the media, Kendall was the only one worth mentioning.
When I first saw her pop up on my Instagram feed, clad in a black gown, I was kind of like: "What's she even doing at Cannes?" But then I swiftly realised how ridiculous I was - how naive are you, Marisa?! She is everywhere and will be everywhere for many years to come. So let's just get used to that thought for a few seconds shall we?
But really, what is it about this girl? She's 19-years-old, gorgeous, everyone's new favourite Kardashian and the girl's humble and sweet demeanour (if it's real) can only work in her favour. For now anyways.
She made an appearance at the "Youth" film premiere where she won over international photographers with her flawless Azzedine Alaïa outfit and playful personality. See below, yes this was her signature Cannes red carpet pose, i.e. that 'I'm shy but just a little crazy' one...

But no one can deny that she basically owned Cannes. Here's the proof:
She and new BFF, Cara Delevingne have officially dubbed themselves CaKe while spending time together at Cannes this year. Get it? (Cara and Kendall)
Not only is it the name of one of my favourite food groups (yes, it is officially a food group); but it's also much less annoying than some other celeb combo names. The two apparently spend a day together at the beach in Cannes. The Mirror reported that the two models were spotted basking in the sun along the French Riviera.
Kendall shared this Instagram post of herself on a boat, post-premiere. Was she partying it up on one of those infamous Cannes party yachts with Leo? Who knows. We just know that the back of this skirt is beyond dreamy...
Of course, to many of Jenner's fans' elation, she shared a peek of her outfit from down under. Love the full '50s-style knickers, love. ;)
