The turtleneck is back from the 90s!

We've definitely seen different versions of this winter staple, from sleeveless (like the one I'm wearing here) to longer length knits that can be worn as dresses, to the extremely oversized sweater that just works with everything.

This knit is definitely a classic staple that should be in every woman’s closet, it’s one of those pieces that is extremely versatile. I love that the sweater can be styled to create a classic clean look, and again reworked to create a more chic laid back look. 

Today I'm wearing the most amazing cream cable knit oversized turtleneck from Banana Republic, which I recently picked up at 32 Clothing. I recently made a promise to myself and that is to start investing in classic staple pieces with longevity instead of buying every trend piece on the market. This Banana Republic sweater definitely belongs under the classic staple category, and one I’ll be wearing for years to come.
