What you’ll need:
- Colourful embroidery thread
- Pack of small balloons
- PVA glue
- Vaseline
What to do:
Pour the glue into a bowl and soak the embroidery thread. You could also make a stiffening mixture of one cup of liquid starch mixed with a half cup of flour blended in a blender.
Blow up the balloons to the size that you want your Easter eggs to be.
Cover the outside of the balloons with a thin layer of Vaseline. This will stop the thread from sticking to the balloons.
Start wrapping the sticky thread around the balloons.
Let it dry for a few hours and then pop the balloons.
Once the string has dried properly, thread through a long piece of embroidery string and hang over a mirror or on a wall.
