The worst thing about load shedding?

accreditation

So we've all been experiencing a lot of power cuts lately. We asked our Facebook readers what the worst thing about load shedding was? Here’s what they had to say:

Zayboonisha: The fact that Eskom waited for December, when people will be on holiday, and leaving their homes alone. They are promoting crime.

Delisiwe: When they don't stick to their schedule it pisses me off.

Suraya: All the food being wasted due to the lengths of the cuts, and as we all know food is the bulk of your costs, any idea who should be responsible for the reimbursement of this and many other???/

Candice-Lee: Not being able to cook when you've come home from work!

Bernard: I think the worst thing is that power cuts is part of our society and Eskom see it as a normal contingency plan.

Lynda: When you pay for electricity and don't receive it, when Eskom management then reward themselves with huge bonuses and tell us nothing’s wrong; it’s the plain fact that they treat us like Idiots!

Kenalemang: Destruction of electric appliances.

Karen: The impact it has on my electrical appliances- especially fridge. The computer box on fridge is taking longer and longer to come on. Those things are expensive and not planned expenses.

Mahlogonolo: Cutting power in hospital especially government hospitals (babies die), homes (it becomes dangerous for small kids) and malls (now there-some thugs who refused free education n want the communities money regardless)! When the CEO has a million bonuses in his pockets n forgetting about Batho pele principles.

Lindsay: The job losses and damage to property and food wastage ... PROUDLY SOUTH AFRICAN MY ASS!! My mom bakes for extra money and now because they aren't sticking to the schedule, she is losing HUGE amounts of money to wasted ingredients!

Lynette: Being unable to make a cup of tea AND losing all my data just input on the computer.

Debbie: It’s always at supper time!

Samantha: Robots that go out? Why aren't they on a separate power grid? They are there to save lives, not just ease traffic!
