This is mainly because people are not always totally honest when setting up their profiles online. You could very easily find yourself meeting a completely different person from the sexy, young, rocket scientist you thought you snagged.
So why go through this?
Well because online dating is a very big part of modern practice these days. We spend half of our lives online; it only makes sense that we would meet potential lovers there too.
To show how drastically the dating world has changed, Ethan Cole decided to make his grandfather, Joe, go on a few Tinder dates.
They set up a profile of a much younger Joe, and managed get five women to go on dates with him. The result is painful to say the least. From conversations about sex acts to talking about weight, the dates are hilarious to watch.
These poor women really didn’t know what they were in for, and they were clearly uncomfortable as you can see here:
