Brandy performed one of her first hits at the BET Awards and it was awesome

Remember Brandy back in the ‘90s? When The Boy was hers? When everyone was copying her long dark braids paired with hoop earrings? And her sultry voice was the best thing that could have happened to R’n’B?

Well, get ready to be hit by a wave of nostalgia, people.

Brandy performed the remix of her song I Wanna Be Down, featuring Queen Latifah, MC Lyte and Yoyo at the BET Awards  and they all looked and sounded amazing.

Although, I must say, I’m still wondering WTF is up with Brandy’s outfit. I just don’t get it.
