WTF did Rose McGowan do to her face? And why?
I love Rose McGowan. I loved her in Charmed, the Grindhouse movies and even Scream, but I do not love what she’s morphed into.
The official story is that Rose got into a car accident in 2007 and the sunglasses she was wearing at the time gave her quite a nasty cut under her eye and left an unattractive scar. "I didn’t realize I was hurt until I put my hand to my face and felt the flap of skin," she said afterwards.
So, naturally, she had a little cosmetic surgery to fix it up. Though I don’t see why she felt the need to also get (what I think are) a brow lift, cheek and chin implants, and lip fillers.
Many plastic surgeons have weighed in on Miss McGowan’s changed look. Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Rose McGowan does have a different look to her face these days. She may have had her nose done (Rhinoplasty) as it does appear smaller. Another reason for her different appearance is that her normally full and round shaped face is much thinner. She may have lost weight or had some facial micro lipo-sculpture done.”
Dude, losing weight doesn’t change the freakin’ shape of your face that dreastically!
I’m absolutely appalled that such a beautiful woman could turn her face into this. I’m not sure if we should blame Hollywood, poor self-esteem, or, the need to be more beautiful than the next actress in order to get good acting jobs.
