The first episode of the revamped soapie, which is now called Generations: The Legacy, has been the talk of social media town lately. Hardcore fans and novice viewers alike waited with baited breath to see what producer Mfundi Vundla was going to pull out of the hat.

And, well, it’s certainly different.

The show is set two years in the future (yes, we know. WTF? Our story suggestions were much cooler) with a mostly new cast (but still familiar faces) and storyline.

The beloved characters Karabo Moraka and Tau Mogale (I thought he died, but maybe I was wrong) have both returned to the show and are looking to establish new legacies according to Channel24.

And there are a LOT of opinions about the new show.

There are those who tried to give it a chance, but couldn’t.
