If you haven’t heard by now, there’s a lot of drama surrounding Generations. Yes, more than usual. After going on strike due to unhappiness about pay and contracts, 16 of the principal cast were fired back in August, shocking the industry and fans alike.
The show will return on 1 December, according to Channel24, without the 16 actors who were fired, but there are no details as to what will happen with the storyline as all the writers have been sworn to secrecy by creator and producer, Mfundi Vundla.
So until your favourite soapie returns in the last month of the year, the show Skeem Saam will fall into the 20:00 timeslot that Generations once filled.
But for those of you who really loved Generations, and wonder what the storyline would have been like, these are the teasers for October 2014:
