We tell you why you are already bikini ready.
Our thoughts are consumed with donning extra, fashionable layers and getting our next fix of warmth –be it heating your drink of water and adding a slice of lemon or setting the fire ablaze.
But if you cannot seem to step away from thoughts of summer as you guiltily succumb to winter munchies, I’m here to place you at ease.
Summer activities and participation in these are not privileges reserved only for the ultra-thin and able. As they say, if you have a body and a bikini then you have a bikini body, so cosy up to another cup of hot chocolate because it’s time to embrace those curves.
In the video below, Laci Green shames companies and the media for profiting off the ‘body shame machine’ and encourages us to just enjoy pool parties and beach fun as we are.
Come summer, we will go boldly, in our bikinis and allow the garment to once again become a symbol of liberation.
