On having a motherly perspective
My first experience as a woman was when I was there for my baby brother's first day at primary school.
This made me reflect on the fact that I've lived through these life experiences growing up.
It made me realise that if I were ever in the situation where I had to give something up for him that I couldn't have, I would.
The feeling of compassion and nurturing lies very close to my heart.
It made me realise how my mother made so many sacrifices for me that I would make for my own children one day.

That time of my life
On the morning of my 16th birthday, I had a lot of pain.
When I went to the bathroom I saw that there was blood on my underwear and that my breasts were bigger.
I called for my mother to come look, and when she saw everything she said, "My child, you're a beautiful woman."
After that my father told me, "My child, today you're 16 and almost more beautiful than when you were little."
