Look around and see what we have become. Barbaric, selfish, valueless beings. We will not help a brother/sister, we will not share happiness for the sake of others, and we will not love another, because he looks different or believes differently from us. Instead we make it painful, difficult and treacherous for each other. We hold grudges, cause disharmony, shatter tranquillity. Whoever or whatever ever you believe in, surely one should know that we have to answer for our actions. We are divided by race, religion, politics and money.
What happened to “you may not be my brother by blood, but by humanity?”
We are tainting mankind with hatred.
Why can’t we just be examples of Love and Acceptance?
The news is filled with stories of death and destruction. Most times you just shut off, is there anything good left? What point are we trying to prove?
As humans we all have the natural instinct to self-preserve, which should never translate to commit violent acts or rally support to carry out these acts, to achieve self-preservation. We are only human when we ensure the next persons safety and preservation as well.
From the Middle East, to the US, from the US to Africa, globally, it seems nowadays, there is no tolerance with race, creed, ethnicity, religion, gender. People simply don’t care anymore. Life doesn’t have value, you can get killed for a cigarette or you can get killed for just being of different colour. It’s a ruthless game to make the other person’s life sheer hell. To watch them beg for their lives to be spared, to instil so much fear, that the person just waits for death.
So many incidents happen that we question:
Why are our kids projecting violence in schools? Why are kids bullied? Why are kids raping kids? Why does rape, murder, acts of terror and violence so rife? Why are kids killing themselves? Why are kids doing drugs?
Look in the mirror.
Are we sterling adult examples, or have we completely lost the plot? Where is TRUTH, COURAGE, and TOLERANCE etc. The poster people for being “human” have long passed on, maybe a few still remain in the world, scattered amongst us
We don’t seem to be safe as humans any longer. From the places we live in to where we travel too. Are we heading or are we already experiencing the loss of humanity and slowly eradicating mankind. As soon as we understand the importance of humanity in day to day life, the purpose for which we are on earth is automatically fulfilled
God Almighty further states in the Glorious Quraan:
“hold on tight to the rope of God Almighty (by submitting your will to Him), and be not divided amongst yourselves ..."
