When 25 year-old Emily Letts fell pregnant by mistake she decided to have an abortion. But instead of hiding it from the world she had her abortion filmed (nothing graphic, just her face and shoulders) and talked about her emotions and feelings.
Of course this stirred up a huge controversy – among pro-choice and pro-lifers. On the one hand, if you think abortion is murder you obviously do not want to see a woman having the procedure done, and worse, see her be better off for it.
If you’re pro-choice, it still doesn’t necessarily mean you’re pro-abortion, and Letts seems to have left out a few important bits about abortion procedures.
Yet, with all the gruesome Pro-Life propaganda videos around, it would seem fair that a real woman should share her actual story.
What do you think? Would a video like this educated or harm?
