Lindsay Lohan has confirmed she's on board for the highly anticipated Freaky Friday sequel.
"I don't want to say too much," the 37-year-old actress said. But what she was willing to reveal was that she's "excited" to work with Jamie Lee Curtis again, 24 years after the hit movie, and "see how much further we can take it.”
“We talk almost every other day in general, so I think we're going to have a lot of fun with this,” Lindsay told People.

The original film is about an overworked mother, played by Jamie, and her daughter (Lindsay) who don’t get along.
The two switch bodies unintentionally after eating a mysterious and magical Chinese fortune cookie and are forced to adapt to each other’s life for one freaky Friday.
Last year, as the film marked its 20th anniversary, Jamie launched an appeal with Disney bosses for a sequel.
“As I went around the world with Halloween Ends, people wanted to know if there was going to be another Freaky Friday,” she told The Times.
“Something really touched a chord. When I came back, I called my friends at Disney and said, 'It feels like there's a movie to be made.’”
Last year, Variety reported that Elyse Hollander was writing the script for the sequel.
Recently Lindsay also revisited the characters from 1998 movie, The Parent Trap, in which she played the roles of identical twins Hallie and Annie.

In a sketch on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Lindsay was seen wearing a glamorous bronze dress backstage while sharing Oreos with Jimmy. The camera then cut to another version of Lindsay, who speaks with a British accent and is wearing a T-shirt with the words "Camp Walden”, just like the one her Annie character wore in her breakout movie.

Lindsay also paid homage to Cady Heron, the character she played in the 2004 movie Mean Girls, depicting her as an adult in a Walmart commercial. She also made a surprise cameo appearance in the new Mean Girls musical.
After taking a decade-long break from acting, Lindsay returned to the industry in 2022 with Netflix’s Falling for Christmas. Her new Netflix movie, Irish Wish, will be released on 15 March.
While Lindsay is very excited about Freaky Friday, she's warned that it's still early days and she can’t say when they’ll start filming and doesn't know if the script has even been completed yet. So fans could be in for a long wait.
