Less than three months
ago questions were being raised about her. Critics speculated that she was too
young, that there was too much expected of her, that she couldn’t handle
pressure.
But just look at her
now. Emma Raducanu – the 18-year-old who crashed and burnt in the fourth round
of Wimbledon – is now the sports world’s latest darling.
Emma was forced to
retire from Wimbledon when nerves got the better of her and later admitted “the
whole experience caught up with me”.
