The young woman was hysterical on the 911 call. Her parents had been shot in a home invasion and she’d been tied up before the robbers fled.

“Help me,” she said. “I need help.” Emergency services rushed to the affluent home in the city of Markham in Ontario, Canada, and discovered a gruesome scene.

Bich Ha Pan was dead, having been shot three times in the head. Her husband, Huei Hann Pan, had been shot in the face and shoulder, but was clinging to life.
