The duchess of dazzle does it again!
Kate Middleton stole the show when she attended the Royal Variety Performance at the London Palladium Theatre on Thursday night, sporting a stunning soft curl hairstyle which was a complete break from her signature straight blowout.
Kate looked gorgeous in a sequined emerald gown with statement shoulder pads by one of her favourite designers, Jenny Packham – the same dress she turned heads in during her and Prince William’s tour of Pakistan in 2019.
Being a repeat outfit offender clearly works well for the duchess, who is often lauded for keeping her outfits in rotation.
"You look absolutely beautiful,” comedian Alan Carr, who hosted the 94th annual charity event, told Kate as he greeted her and her husband. "Sir, I am sure you do not know who I am, but I am not hitting on your wife,” he then joked with Prince William, who wore a low-key blue velvet tuxedo for the evening.
The televised event, which is usually attended by senior members of the royal family, attracted A-list guests such as Sir Rod Stewart, James Blunt and Ed Sheeran.
The Royal Variety Performance, which this year featured performances by the cast of Matilda The Musical, UK pop star Anne Marie and members of Cirque du Soleil, is held to raise money for the Royal Variety Charity, of which Queen Elizabeth is life patron.
This year funds will go towards those in the entertainment industry who are in need of help.
Her Majesty, who’s been taking it easy over the past few weeks, skipped the star-studded event but sent a message expressing her best wishes for the evening.
Kate and William walked the red carpet and rubbed shoulders with several guests and performers at the event. But the glamorous duchess may well have stolen the show.
