Dozens of Kenyans marched through the streets of Nairobi on August 23 to protest against the detention of Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, more commonly as Bobi Wine, in neighbouring Uganda by the government.
Ssentamu who opposes longtime President Yoweri Museveni was charged with treason in a civilian court on Thursday, minutes after a military court dropped weapons charges.
Another top Ugandan opposition figure and former presidential candidate Kizza Besigye was also arrested outside his home on Thursday.
