Zimbabwean Vice President Constantino Chiwenga has reportedly returned home from South Africa where he was receiving medical treatment.
AFP reported on Monday that Chiwenga was in South Africa receiving treatment for injuries sustained during a blast at a ruling party rally in June.

A grenade blast at an election rally in the second city of Bulawayo killed two people and narrowly missed President Emmerson Mnangagwa while leaving Chiwenga with apparently superficial injuries.
Chiwenga, 61, was the military general who led the ousting of veteran leader Robert Mugabe in November when the army briefly took control and ushered Mnangagwa to the presidency.
A Herald report said on Wednesday that Chiwenga was now back in Harare and was in good spirits.
The report said that Chiwenga was accompanied by his wife Marry, who had travelled for a routine review and Deputy Minister of Health and Child Care, Dr John Mangwiro.
"He (Chiwenga) touched down at 18:50 hours (on Tuesday) accompanied by his wife and the Deputy Minister of Health and Child Care... Very chatty and jovial both husband and wife hugging officers from his office. Obviously, the couple needs time to rally again. His Excellency the President spoke to the couple this evening (last night)," Presidential spokesperson George Charamba was quoted as saying.
