Harare – A video showing Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe struggling to climb a small staircase at the National Heroes's Acre in Harare has gone viral.
The video was recently recorded by SABC at the burial of former chief justice Godfrey Chidyausiku.
The video shows Mugabe, 93, climbing the staircase while balancing on the railings with both hands.

According to Zimbabwe Independent, the video has generated "more debate" on the nonagenarian’s health and old age.
Reports early this week quoted sources close to the First Family as saying that Mugabe's health problems were "worsening" and that his wife Grace was "getting worried".
"Grace is in a quandary; she has to deal with Mugabe's health challenges and political issues as well... she is scared of a future without him," an unnamed official told the paper.
Mugabe was in Singapore last week for another medical check-up.
A senior government official who claimed to be close to Mugabe's family said that the longtime Zimbabwe leader has had a "noticeable decline in his cognitive abilities".
The paper claimed Mugabe's ill-health was now at a "crisis point".
