WATCH: How rhino droppings could help save species from extinction
"Saving species with faeces". That's the name of a new initiative aimed at preventing global extinction of threatened species.
Chester Zoo and the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom are collaborating on the project, aimed to understand why species like black rhino and certain zebra are not breeding well.
By gathering and examining the droppings, scientists hope to provide insights to improve the chances of these animals producing offspring.
