This is written in response to Brickz's promoter who says that the singer did not kill anyone and should therefore be allowed to perform while on bail. The kwaito singer has been convicted of rape.
I contend that he did kill someone. He killed a young girl's dream of living a normal life. She will be forever be known as a rape victim.
He killed the ability to trust males in a young girl and have normal interactions with men. He caused a young girl to forever doubt herself and ask herself if she did anything to bring this onto herself. He killed her ability to live carefree like all kids should.
He has forever destroyed relationships within his family, extended family and society. He has misled a number of young men who saw him as a role model and some might follow his example and rape. You don't have to take a life to kill someone. Sometimes the most painful murder is the one that leaves you alive.
