3 things you need to know about the legalisation of weed

It’s been a good day for marijuana users as the Constitutional Court ruled that the private use of marijuana is now legal.

But while smoking dagga has been decriminalised there are a few things you should know before lighting up:

1.       The personal use of dagga is not a criminal offence, nor is the cultivation or possession of it in private.

2.       It is illegal to deal marijuana, sell it to others or smoke it outside of your own home.

3.       The government still has to decide how much weed a person may use in private and the age restriction for use.
