A family was hit with a double tragedy after two brothers died in quad-biking accidents within 10 minutes of each other.

Police have said brothers Kyle (43) and Jeremie Foster (47) reportedly died ten minutes apart in the North Dakota in the US, Mirror News reports.

Kyle, who’s from Tucson, Arizona, reportedly died first when he lost control and crashed his quad bike into a ditch.

Riding back to find his brother, Jeremy also lost control of his quad bike and crashed his vehicle. He died on the way to the hospital, Yahoo reports.

Neither of the brothers had worn a crash helmet and both were intoxicated at the time of the crash, police have said.

In a touching Facebook post, Kyle’s daughter paid tribute to him by sharing a series of pictures.

“I love and miss you daddy,” she wrote.

Police are still investigating the incident, which happened on Friday night 6 September, AZ Central reports.
