This TikTok doc will get you on your feet!

With the novel coronavirus outbreak and uncertainty as to when the global pandemic may end, one cheerful doctor in Oregon in the US is bringing smiles to his followers’ faces with his killer dance moves and social distancing memos.

Dr Jason Campbell, a resident physician in the department of anaesthesiology and perioperative medicine at Oregon Health and Science University (Ohsu) in Portland, has issued doctor’s orders for his thousands of social media followers that no handshaking is allowed, New York Post reports.

However, he also emphasised that it shouldn’t stop you from having a good time.

His dance videos, which take place in hospital operating theatres and passages, has garnered hundreds of likes and views on the social media platform, Fox News reports.

The doc encourages his followers to stay hopeful and healthy during the worldwide pandemic as he takes his job very seriously, just not himself.

Naturally, the doc is happy, positive and his glass is always full in some way. “It’s just how you see the world,” he said

The 31-year-old medic, who also shares his videos on Twitter and Instagram, said he’s “always loved to dance”.

His upbeat and catchy dances with his Ohsu colleagues in the hospital during the outbreak have recently gone viral on TikTok, with some getting millions of views, Fox News reports.

“Glad to see you all keeping your spirits up. Thank you for doing all you do!” one follower commented.

“That's amazing on so many levels. But it also requires a level of coordination that I just do NOT possess,” another person commented.
