A group of police officers went above and beyond the call of duty when they personally delivered a large pizza to a little boy who called 911 to place his order.
Manuel Beshara (5) from Florida in the US dialled 911 to tell them he was hungry and wanted to order pizza, Mirror UK reports.
Officers arrived to find the little boy and his 15-year-old sister, who said she was unaware her brother had called 911, at home, USA Today reports.
The policemen gave Manuel a lecture on how to use the emergency number correctly and then bought him a large pizza which they personally delivered, People reports.
The three officers then took a picture with the boy and his eagerly awaited meal.
The photo, which was posted on the Sanford Police Department Facebook page has been shared more than 200 times.
This isn’t the first time a child has called emergency services for the wrong reasons.
In April, a five-year old boy from Michigan called the police to order McDonalds.
Officer Dan Patterson drove to the boy’s home to check up on him, but stopped at a McDonald’s restaurant along the way to get the boy some food.
