The Southern Sotho phrase, which in direct translation means ‘what is eating you up?’, went viral earlier this year after thousands of Tweeps replied to it by sharing their problems, and some of them have been able to be assisted with employment opportunities and counselling.

In an interview with Sunday Times Kea said the responses to the viral tweet were therapeutic, adding that it’s good to see people support one another.

“It’s an amazing feeling knowing that I have helped or created a platform for people to open up about things that have been bothering them for ages, without any judgement,” she said.

Keabetswe’s tweet shares the top spot with "Sco pa tu manaa", "Bomboclaat" and  "Ian Cumberland" tweets, according to the annual Year on Twitter report
