Well, that’s a rather creative way of being at one with nature.

The increasing coronavirus cases around the globe have prompted governments from various countries to send many of its citizens into lockdown in their homes.

But when Nicholas Murray and Madeline Mai-Davies, a couple from London, were locked indoors, the last thing they expected was to spot their neighbour disguised as a bush while heading to the supermarket, Daily Mail reports.

The couple have since turned their leafy-dressed neighbour into an online sensation after they captured the comical moment on camera and shared it on Instagram.

In the shared clip, the neighbour can be seen tiptoeing, rolling on the ground and crouching near a backdrop of shrubs in an attempt to not get busted by any nearby patrolling security.

The duo were pleasantly surprised by the support the video has received, Mirror reports.

“Looking back, I didn’t expect the video to go that viral and get 16,5 million views. While in this difficult time we want to bring smiles, laughs and hope,” Nick said.

“I was overwhelmed with the support and following that came from it,” Maddie added.

As tempted as one might feel to “branch” outside, South Africa recently launched its 21-day lockdown and the government has placed strict precautionary measures in place. This includes remaining within the parameters of your home in a bid to flatten the Covid-19 curve.

So, unless you are considered as an essential worker with an approved permit or running an essential errand within the scope of the listed purposes, then the government has advised that you remain indoors until 16 April.
