A FUNDRAISING Dinner and Dance for Khanya Hospice was recently held at the Scottburgh Town Hall to raise funds in aid of the hospice.

The event, which was co-ordinated by Ultimate Dance Fitness Group, was a great success according to CEO of the hospice Neil McDonald.

He said: “It’s one thing to give money towards a cause but it’s something else to give off your time. A big ‘thank you’ to Shereen Paul and all her team members from the Ultimate Dance Fitness Group for this most beautiful fundraising event that they put together on Saturday evening in the Scottburgh Town Hall. It was definitely one of class and glamour.”

“This was a huge fundraising event for Khanya Hospice. This was a great success and the music, food and stage entertainment was of a high standard. A big thank you from the management and staff from Khanya Hospice and to all who so kindly helped and supported the evening by way of making a donation, getting and making things for the evening — draping the hall and decorating, preparing the food, selling the tickets and cleaning up afterwards,” added McDonald.
