TRIAL examinations for the matric class of 2018 are already underway.
These examinations serve as preparation for the final exams that will take plac e in mid-October.
Speaking on the progress of the pupils during the examinations thus far, principal of Amanzimtoti High School, Mrs Lemmer said: “I would like to take the opportunity to wish the Class of 2018 the best for their trial examination.
This examination is a crucial part of any grade 12 pupil’s preparation for the finals, as it affords them the opportunity to identify areas that need more attention and where more help from their educators is required. Remember, character is revealed when we are tested most. Good luck.”
According to the pupils, despite the stress, they know that if they are prepared they will do well.
Hoping to ease the stress the pupils may face, the staff of Toti High provided some tips to help the matriculants.
They said: “Look after yourself during the exams.
Be sure to get enough sleep and eat properly. Plan your study time and avoid last minute cram- ming.
Avoid extra stress on exam days by being prepared.
“Arrive at least half an hour before your exam and remember to pack your official identification and extra stationery.”
