Toti pensioner’s booklet launched

PENSIONER’S Friend Amanzimtoti is thrilled to announce the launch of the first monthly issue of their Pensioners Friend booklet for pensioners living in Amanzimtoti. They are excited to have a wonderful team of highly skilled professional business people working with them who share the same passion for helping the elderly.

The booklets official public launch will take place on October 16 at the boardroom of 305 Guest House in Athlone Park. The event will be attended by 100 senior citizens who will be able to mingle with advertisers and other guests.

Errol and Sharon-Ann Theron are finally going places by using an idea they carefully nurtured and modified over many years before deciding it was time to make it a dream come true.

“The fantastic and positive reaction to the Pensioners Friend Amanzimtoti Facebook page we opened in April 2018 was the catalyst not only needed to get the proverbial ball rolling quickly but also in the right direction. The encouragement we have received from the community is ultimately what inspired us to launch a printed version for the many seniors living in the community with only limited access to the Internet, or who cannot be bothered to learn the new technology,” said the duo.

For financial reasons, a limited number of the September issue will be printed and available from their advertiser’s, local old aged homes, the library and at some churches.
