Lwandle police need the community’s assistance in finding Noluvo Zililo, who went missing on Sunday 28 January.
She was last seen by her sister on the morning of her disappearance.
The 20-year-old’s sister left for work and returned home later that day to find an empty house and a note from her sibling.
The letter said she was leaving Cape Town and would be going back to Matatiele in the Eastern Cape, as she was bored in the Western Cape.
Zililo had arrived in Cape Town a few days before her disappearance.
Sergeant Mthokozisi Gama, spokesperson for Lwandle police, said her family in the Eastern Cape was contacted and they indicated she had not arrived home.
Gama said at the time of her disappearance, Zililo was wearing a pink T-shirt, black denim pants and white sneakers.
She is light of complexion and has a scar in the middle of the her forehead.
Zililo has a black hair and is about 1,6 m tall.
The police have opened a missing person’s docket.
Anyone who may have seen Zililo or knows of her possible whereabouts, is asked to contact the investigating officer, Detective Constable Zimasa Nungu, on 082 522 3361 or 082 469 7719.
