ALFRED Nzo District team players are preparing for the national indigenous games which will be played in the Limpopo Province from August 21 to August 29.
Team managers and coaches will be accompanying the eight district players when they travel to the national games. Vuyolwethu Stuurman, the technical officer in the Alfred Nzo District, said 52 players from the district participated in the Eastern Cape provincial games held in East London last week and eight players from the district were selected to go to the national games. “The indigenous games that were played included stick fighting, mrabaraba and other traditional games,” he said.
