NDZ VIEWPOINT

Greetings to all Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Municipality residents.

One must appreciate this opportunity to meet with you once again during this time.

The Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Municipality is saddened and disturbed by the fatal accident that claimed the lives of two members of our communities, including one of our employees in the municipality of NDZ, Ndumiso Madiba, who was involved in a terrible accident on the R617 between Bulwer and Underberg — this is a tragedy for us as the community of Dr. NDZ Municipality. To the affected families and relatives, one cannot begin to describe the pain that you are going through but we know that it is only God who is capable of healing a wound as deep as the loss of a life.

We shall continue to pray and visit the affected families; we will support you and pray for you — you are not alone during this difficult period.

We shall continue to pray for the one who is still in hospital, wishing him a speedy recovery. Unity among people is required the most during such times in our lives.

We urge our people to be cautious, exercise tolerance as well patience on the road. We would like to urge our people to pray for the affected families as well as pray for all road accidents.

On behalf of the Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Municipality, we pass our sincere condolences to all affected by this tragic accident, may their souls rest in peace.

One cannot begin to express the pain that is felt by the family, the colleagues that worked with Ndumiso, and friends but we trust in the lord to comfort everyone and we are putting the family in our prayers.

Media Tour

The media tour was held last week Tuesday around the area of Dr. Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Municipality; it was a success as we managed to get all media houses in the province of KwaZulu-Natal.

The purpose of the tour was to showcase all service delivery projects that the municipality has completed, and the ones that are still in the process. We used media as one of the biggest stakeholders to ensure that our message reaches many residents of our beloved municipality, even the ones that are residing in other places due to work commitments and various other reasons.

This was to display that the municipality is indeed at work and that our community members do witness the value for their money.
